Volunteer Opportunities
FAQ'sWho can volunteer?
Christian men and women. Note: In certain cases, we can only accept women volunteers such as jail visitation and mentorship. Do I have to belong to a certain church? No! Sharing Hope Ministry volunteers represent around 30 area churches. We ask, however, that you do attend church as we teach the importance of finding a church home and support system. If you need any suggestions for a church in the local area, we're happy to offer several that our volunteers call "home." I work during the week. How can I volunteer? There are opportunities beyond workday volunteering. These include joining the email prayer list, helping out with fundraisers, sending prayer correspondence (we provide materials) and spreading the word about Sharing Hope Ministry. How can my church get involved? We are blessed greatly by the churches who support our ministry. We can use monthly financial support from local churches to keep our services free for many years to come. Also, we can use assistance with "drives" for Patsy's Place such as a toilet paper drive, hygiene products drive, etc. Who do I contact to get started? Complete the form to the right for more information OR email info@sharinghopeministry.org. |

I wanted to thank you for the time and effort your ministry takes for women like me. My recovery has been long, but God has really been a big part of it. I was having a hard time believing that God forgave me because I feel like I failed Him. As I continue to meditate on Him and pray, I'm coming back and things are getting better. I get out soon and want to show and tell people how my mess is now a message for others. Thank you for your prayers. ~Laura
